About Corep Ibérica

Corep Ibérica is a Portuguese manufacturing company specialising in decorative lighting. Since 2010, we have been producing lampshades, lighting components and complete decorative lighting products for customers across Europe and other international markets.

Our production is highly labour-intensive and, as a result, capacity varies according to the type and complexity of the products being manufactured. As an indication, our facilities can typically produce:

• up to 1,000 lampshades per day using hand-assisted and machine production;

• approximately 150 to 200 high-quality rolled-edge lampshades per day;

• approximately 300 to 400 complete wired lamps per day, including ceramic, wood, glass, stone and metal products.

Our main strength is our adaptability and flexibility. We are structured to work with different materials, production methods, quantities and levels of product complexity, adapting our processes to the requirements of each project.

Product Development and Manufacturing

Our expertise extends well beyond lampshade production.

We work in two complementary areas: the creation and development of our own lighting products and the industrial development, production and assembly of products designed by our customers.

We regularly work with designers, brands and retailers to transform concepts, drawings or prototypes into technically viable products ready for production.

This involves much more than simply manufacturing an existing product. Depending on the project, we can assist with material selection, construction methods, technical solutions, electrical integration, prototyping, testing and preparation for production.

Continuous product development is an important part of our activity, allowing us to improve our technical knowledge and manufacturing capabilities with every new project.

Materials and Supply Chain

We work with a broad range of materials, including:

• ceramic;

• wood;

• metal;

• glass;

• stone;

• cork;

• textiles and other materials used in decorative lighting.

Whenever possible, we rely on established local and European suppliers with whom we have developed long-standing relationships.

Electrical components are sourced primarily from specialised suppliers in Italy, France, Spain and the United Kingdom, complemented by selected components from the United States and China, particularly when specific UL-approved components are required for the North American market.

Product manufacturing, finishing and final assembly are carried out at our facilities in Portugal.

Our Production Facilities

Corep Ibérica is located in the Alcobaça region, approximately 100 km north of Lisbon, in one of Portugal's traditional manufacturing areas.

Our production facility covers approximately 3,000 m² (32,000 sq. ft.), including:

• approximately 2,000 m² dedicated to assembly, lampshade production, wiring, finishing and logistics;

• approximately 1,000 m² dedicated to the production of ceramic lamp bases and components.

We also operate specialised machinery developed within the Corep Group. These machines allow us to automate or assist repetitive operations while retaining the flexibility and manual skills required for decorative lighting production.

This combination of industrial equipment and skilled manual work enables us to improve productivity while maintaining quality and keeping production costs competitive.

From Concept to Production

Our service goes beyond the manufacture and assembly of goods.

We work closely with our customers throughout the development process, from an initial concept or design through prototyping, technical development and final production.

Our objective is always to find the most appropriate balance between design, technical feasibility, quality, production efficiency and cost.

For customer-developed products, we understand that confidentiality is essential. A significant part of our activity involves products and collections developed exclusively for individual brands and therefore cannot be publicly displayed.

Compliance and International Markets

Technical compliance is integrated into our product-development and production processes.

Depending on the destination market and the requirements of each project, products are developed and manufactured in accordance with the applicable European, UK and North American electrical safety requirements.

Our experience includes products intended for:

• European Union markets — CE requirements

• United Kingdom — applicable UK electrical requirements

• United States and Canada — UL-related requirements and procedures

Rather than treating compliance as a final step, we consider technical requirements from the beginning of the development process, helping to avoid unnecessary redesigns and production difficulties later.

At Corep Ibérica, our role is not simply to manufacture lighting products.

We help turn lighting concepts into products that can actually be manufactured — reliably, efficiently and repeatedly.
